Watch the videos and learn how planners have integrated Maptionnaire in their participation process
Andrea Burns, Director of Communications at the City of Denver Community Planning & Development, has happily described the work City of Denver has done with Maptionnaire. They started using Maptionnaire as a solution for a two-year long city planning effort called "Denveright" to ask residents about their goals and needs of living in Denver.
Stockholm is one of the fastest-growing cities in Europe. Stockholmers will need to undergo and adapt to significant urban changes for years to come. To sustainably deliver large-scale development projects around the city, Stockholm’s planners have become serious about adding new, digital tools to their public participation toolbox.
The City of Espoo made use of Maptionnaire surveys and our expertise to commemorate Finland's independence in a participatory way:
To have residents distribute a hundred benches around the city and then invite people to use the benches for sharing stories with each other.
The city’s goal is to enhance dialogues with residents around land-use planning and architectural competitions and for this reason they integrated Maptionnaire into their effort.
A key aspect of their work is to use highly visual maps and pictures to motivate people to get involved in planning and respond to the city's surveys.
